Cindy Dalzell, BATD, MLDMA DIRECTOR
Member, British Association of Teachers of Dance,
Member and Past President of Dance Masters of America, Chapter 43.An award winning choreographer and costume designer, Cindy has travelled across the U.S.A. in her quest for modern styles and new steps. Her students have won numerous awards in both Canada and the U.S.A. As well as running a succesful studio, Cindy is also an experienced dance adjudicator and workshop teacher. Dance Factory students have won many dance pageants. Students have performed professionally in "Cats", "Tommy", "Crazy For You", "Mamma Mia" and the movie "Life with Mikey."Some students have gone on to become dance teachers and choreographers. Many dancers have been accepted into National Ballet and have performed in "The Nutcracker." Some have danced at the Canadian National Exhibition and others were invited to dance at Queen's Park on Canada Day. Cindy is the first Canadian teacher to have a student hold the title of Miss Dance of America.

Sara Allen, MLDMA
Recently graduating from the University of Toronto, Sara trained at The Dance Factory for sixteen years in all disciplines of dance as well as gymnastics training. She competed across Canada and the United States for fourteen years. During the course of her dance career, Sara won many scholarship awards including the title of Teen Miss Dance of Canada Chapter #43. As well as being a dancer herself, Sara has been teaching for many years at several studios in the Toronto area and is a qualified instructor through Dance Masters of America. Her student’s have been recognized and have won numerous awards throughout Canada and the United Sates. Sara’s love for dance is passed on to her students through inspiration and dedication. Her goal is to bring the best of dance to her students and share a love of dance and performance with them.

Lindsey Adamson
Lindsey Adamson has been dancing since the age of three. She has trained in jazz, tap, acro, lyrical and stage, as well as completed her R.A.D ballet exams from grades one to eight. Lindsey has been a member of the Dance Factory for sixteen years, as a competitive student and is now teaching recreational and competitive students. Lindsey is currently in her fourth year at York University in the Bachelor of Fine Arts Program. Lindsey enjoys applying her education to teaching children of all ages. Her passion for dance allows her to provide her students with the love and appreciation she has for this art form. She hopes to inspire young dancers and help guide them to success.

Kim Bradford
Kim is an accomplished, award winning teacher and choreographer in all forms of dance and acrobatics. She has performed on television and stage
throughout her career. She is proud to have spent many years training as a
triple threat performer which has led her to achieve many of her life time
goals. Kim was a featured acrobat in the opera "Aida". She travelled to
Cleveland where she was a member of the girls singing group "She Said" and
is very happy to be a former "Miss Dance of Canada". Kim enjoys travelling and teaching master classes across Canada and the United States, as well as guest teaching for many of the professional
studios in the Toronto area. She is a certified DMA teacher where in many of her students have been able to rank nationally in this organization. Some of her former students are now dancing in theatrical shows and companies across North America and Europe. Kim is a highly sought after adjudicator and choreographer, because of her strong technical background and commitment to the artistry of dance. Her unique style and passion for the arts keep her working hard for many different companies.

Alex Dalzell
Alex began dancing at four years of age and continues on doing so today. He has studied with master teachers throughout Canada as well as the United Stages. Alex travels regularly to NYC to participate in tap intensive workshops. He has also traveled to Las Vegas for Westcoast Dance Explosion’s National Competition/Convention.
Alex’s choreography has received choreography awards. He has also be awarded overall scholarships and overall high mark tap in many competitions.
Stephanie Dainard
Stephanie is a recent graduate of York University, where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts Honors in dance specializing in pedagogy and dance science. Stephanie is also a former graduate of Cawthra Park S.S.’s Regional Arts program where she completed a full year co-op with the head of the dance department, as well as performed and choreographed for the school’s repertoire ensemble. Stephanie trained and competed at The Dance Factory for 11 years in the areas of acro, jazz, ballet, lyrical and musical theatre. Stephanie hopes to inspire her students with a love of dance while promoting a safe and healthy dance environment.
Travis Knights
Tap Dancer. Performer. Choreographer. Speaker. Believer. Montreal native Travis Knights is realizing his dreams, pounding rhythms on wood floors all over the world. His talent and dedication have earned him audiences in Berlin, Genova, Chicago, New York, Washington D.C. and Vancouver to name a few. He has worked on film and television with Gregory Hines, Savion Glover, Patrick Huard and Gregory Charles.
In 2006, before earning his Bachelor's Degree in International Business, Travis was tapped to be the principle dancer in the motion capture process for the video game adaptation of Warner Brother's Happy Feet. In 2007, he was selected to lend his percussive sensibility as a Tap consultant to the Cirque du Soleil for their first dance research project.
In 2008, he was cast as a soloist in a touring show called 'Wonderland: A Tap Tribute to Stevie Wonder' with Ayodele Casel, Sarah Savelli, Jumaane Taylor and Shihan the Poet. He also realized a dream the same year, performing at The Apollo Theatre in Ayodele's 'Diary of a Tap Dancer' with Jason Janas.
Now hailing from Toronto, Travis is putting his career in high gear by tapping into his passion and working with the best of the best in the Tap Dance and Entertainment Industry. Last year he also collaborated with Genevieve Cleary, Heather Cornell, Lisa Latouche, Maud Arnold, Rene Simard and a myriad of artists who continue to impact Travis' artistic flavour. Watch out for him, because the best is yet to come.
Tatiana Parker
Dancing since the age of 5, Tatiana’s strong passion for performing arts has led her to pursue a career as a dancer and choreographer. Forever a student, Tatiana has traveled between Toronto and Los Angeles training with many of the industries top leaders. The young dancer has already had the opportunity to work with choreographers such as Luther Brown, Fatima Robinson, Blake McGrath, Lee Daniels, Tony Czar, Leon Blackwood, Chantelle Leonardo, Trey Rich, and many more.
Tatiana’s professional career has enabled her to travel extensively across North America, Europe, Middle East, and Africa.. She has worked with numerous artist such as Hilary Duff, Massari, Akon, Kardinal Offishall, George Nozuka, Shawn Desmand, Kim Davis, Jully Black, and Cali just to name a few. You can also catch her on music videos and commercials such as Eva Avila “I owe it all to you”, Skye Sweetnam “Human”, Jully Black “DJ Play my song”, High School Musical Commercial and Virgin Mobile Christmas Commercial.
Tatiana is always looking for a new challenge; she is constantly improving and taking her dance skills to the next level. A very dedicated and fun dancer, teacher and choreographer. She is known to be spirited and humorous, sharing her knowledge, passion and enthusiasm with all her students.

Jennifer Smith
Jennifer Smith is a recent graduate of the joint program between the
National Ballet School's Teacher Training Program and York University's
Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. Jennifer began dancing at age five and has
since studied jazz, highland dance, tap, modern and national dance in
addition to her ballet training. At York, she studied ballet as well as
Limon and Graham techniques. During her time at the National Ballet School,
Jennifer completed her Intermediate and Advanced One levels with both the
Royal Academy of Dance and the Cecchetti Society.
Jennifer is a fully qualified Registered Teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance,
as well as with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, National Dance
Faculty.
Courtney Stolarski
Courtney began her dance training at the age of three. She is a motivated and enthusiastic student, teacher and choreographer. Courtney displays excellence in all disciplines of dance and her training has enabled her to win numerous titles and awards in competitions throughout Canada and the United States. She is constantly refining her training by attending dance workshops and conventions throughout the nation. She has participated in elite dance pageants where she has been awarded numerous special awards and national scholarships.
Courtney teaches both recreational and competitive students of all ages. With a strong focus on technique, she instills the passion, awareness and excitement of dance.
Courtney has had the opportunity to work within the Peel District School Board as a guest hip-hop instructor. Here, she strives to motivate the class in developing confidence in a new and challenging experience.
Courtney is currently in her second year at Ryerson University pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in the Theatre Performance Dance program. In her studies, she extensively trains in Ballet, Jazz and Modern techniques. Courtney has completed her Advanced One R.A.D ballet exam and is continuing with her Advanced Two exam this upcoming year.

Eryn Waltman
Eryn Waltman currently resides in Toronto, and has been a member of the entertainment industry since the early age of three. She has had extensive training in all forms of dance with various teachers and choreographers throughout Canada and the United States. More specifically, she studied under the instruction of Tiffany McLean where passion and dedication drover her to a career in the industry. As a performer, Eryn has danced in various shows (including Fashion Cares, Molson Indy, Grey Cup etc.) Graduating from the University of Western Ontario, she also began a competitive dance team where she pursued her love for teaching and choreography while also completing her degree in Sociology. As a director, she also leads the traveling University Dance Workshop “Breathe”, which tours across Canada giving university dancers an opportunity to continue training with some of the country’s top choreographers. Teaching throughout various studios in Ontario, she is constantly being recognized for her original and innovative choreography. Eryn has trained her students to many over-all titles, high scores and scholarships from the most respected dance organizations across North America. She is constantly motivating and inspiring her students, teaching them that dance is not only about the development of technique, but about the development of oneself. She strives to build the self-confidence of her students both on and off the stage. She is now sought after as an adjudicator, guest teacher and choreographer across Canada.

Rebecca Zizek
Since the age of 3, Rebecca has been a student at the Dance Factory. She has studied all types of dance; her true passion being jazz and lyrical. She has competed across Canada and the United States, and it has helped her gain success and experience. Rebecca’s love for dance and hard work has helped her in achieving her dance goals; including being a member of the Toronto Raptors Junior Dance Pak. Her passion for dance is obvious in everything she does, and looks forward to sharing this with all of her students.

Guest Teachers
David Cox
David Cox, a dancer/teacher/choreographer, whose goal in
life is to inspire tap dancers of all ages. At the ripe age of 2 he found himself with this wonderful art form at his feet. Growing up he has learned from some of the best dancers in the world: Gregory Hines, Savion Glover, Dr. Jimmy Slyde, Dr. Henry LeTang, Micheal Minery, Ayodele Casel, and Heather Cornell just to name a few. Among his achievements are awards such as the (YTV) YAA! Award, 3X gold medalist at the World Tap Dance Championships, sharing the stage along side Gregory Hines in "Bojangles", and the first Canadian to perform with "STOMP". He hopes that Tap dance will touch others in the same way it has in his life. Here's to the second balcony!

Tania Messina, RAD RTS, TTP(dip)-NBS, BFA (Honours-Dance) INSTRUCTOR, MLDMA
Instructor of Ballet, Member of R.A.D.Tania Baldassarre’s experience in teaching dance covers the disciplines of Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Creative Movement, and Body Conditioning. Her greatest interest, however, lies in the teaching of Classical Ballet and therefore has chosen to devote most of her time to this form of dance. After years of training, Tania decided to study dance at the university level and received a specialized honors degree in dance. She has also received a Teaching Diploma from the prestigious National Ballet School and is a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance. Tania has experience working with students of all ages and in variety of settings including professional training institutions, dance studios, Montessori schools, Public schools, Figure Skating clubs, etc. Tania is dedicated to inspiring her students to work to their fullest potential and developing in them, a love for the art of dance.

Devon Perri
Devon is from Toronto, Ontario and has been dancing since the age of 6. He has had the opportunity on working in such projects as; The Other Me - Walt Disney Pictures and Adidas Canada. He has choreographed for Nissan, Chrysler, The Toronto Film Festival ‘04, Gary Beals - Canada Day performance ’04, Ottawa - Peace Concert ’03, Bravo Fact, Juno Awards ‘01, as well as the tap scenes in the movies; Steppin’ Up Paramount MTV and Honey - Universal Pictures. His music video credits include; Timbaland - Cop That Disc, K-OS - Superstar, K-OS - Crab Bucket, Ray Robinson Girlfriend, Yasmeen - Blue Jeans and many more. Devon has performed for many industrials across North America for such companies as; The East Coast Music Awards, UMAC Awards ’03 and ‘04, Black Eyed Peas After Party, The J.B.’s After Party, M.M.V.A’s, C.N.E. Toronto, AT&T / Telus, Medley - Montreal ’03, Harbor Front Toronto, Bag of Trix, Rendezvous Ontario Tourism, Motorcycle Show Toronto and CBC. He has appeared in such commercials for Marshall’s - National and Dairy Farmers Ontario. He is also a member of the ‘ Next Tip ‘ dance company based out of Toronto www.nexttip.com; as well as currently teaching across Canada and some parts of the U.S.
